IEN-8528-PN is a Managed Industrial switch of 8 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 ports and 2 FX/Gigabit SFP slots designed to withstand demanding harsh environments, vibration, and shock and extreme temperatures from 40°C to 75°C.

Its SFP slots provide the advantages of fiber connectivity including safe, reliable and long-distance data transmission to build Ring or Daisy Chain topologies. PROFINET compliant, this device is used in high precision control of industrial instruments and factory automation to transmit data in 10 and 100ms. It is capable of delivering the speed and precision required by manufacturing plants.

SFP Digital Diagnostic Monitoring

The DDM feature monitors SFP real-time parameters to diagnose faults efficiently. Users receive automatic warning messages through e-mail and relay output with real-time alarm messages.

Network Segmentation and Improved Traffic

VLANs to segment the network into smaller parts and organize them into separate broadcast domains to control traffic, limit broadcast traffic and reduce broadcast storms. At the same time, the switch offers GVRP protocol to eliminate unnecessary network traffic.

Network Redundancy

Redundant Power System 
To guarantee power runs continuously the switch is designed to be simultaneously connected to two power supplies and an alarm through a standard industrial terminal block. If one power supply stops working the switch will start feeding its power on the alternative power supply and the alarm will go off to notify technicians about the event.
