IEN-8415L is a Lite managed industrial switch for harsh industrial environments. It is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in IP30 aluminum casing, and designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -10°C to 60°C. It is equipped with a variety of management tools for configuration of a desired network and has dual redundant power inputs to ensure reliability. Other features such as auto-negotiation, rate limitation, and QoS (Quality of Service) allow network optimization.

Redundant Power System
Powered simultaneously with two different power sources, e.g. SDR-480P-48 power supply and IRA-120/IRA-160 DIN-rail mountable AC to DC power adapter, with power failure alarm.

IEEE802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) compliant with Green Ethernet technology for automatic adjustment of power consumption. 
Auto Negotiable Link Speed Control
Auto-negotiation for data transmission speed between the switch and the connected PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).

In designing the IEN-8415L, the absolute necessary management functions were integrated to enable the configuration and monitoring of the switches. This allows the IEN-8415L switches to bring added value to areas where unmanaged switches cannot deliver the required performance. It can also be used when fully-managed switches are not needed, due to the superfluous functionality or complex operation.
