IMC-561 is an unmanaged industrial media converter. It converts Ethernet signals to fiber optic signals and is specifically engineered to offer a low-cost solution for industrial systems. It is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in IP30 metal casing, and designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -10°C to 60°C. It is equipped with auto MDI/MDIX (medium dependent interface /MDI crossover), LFS (Link Fault Signaling), LLB (Line Loopback), LEDs, and DIP switches for easy plug-n-play installation and monitoring.

 

Robust Electrical and Electromagnetic Safeguard
Engineered to withstand EMI (electromagnetic interference), ESD (Electrostatic discharge), power surge, over voltage, over current, and reverse polarity.
User-friendly Monitoring of Signal Strengths and Faulty Links
LFS (Link Fault Signaling) for easy determination of optical signal strengths and detection of faulty links on both copper and fiber ports.
Redundant Power System
Powered simultaneously with two different power sources, e.g. SDR-480P-48 power supply and IRA-120/IRA-160 DIN-rail mountable AC to DC power adapter, with power failure alarm.

The IMC-561 is compatible with 10/100/1000Mbps through RJ45 transceivers to guarantee a strong, stable connection of Ethernet, Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet providing flexible deployment options to satisfy industrial networking requirements. Addition to this, the switch can be easily extended to control center with hassle-free fiber to facilitate central controlling for harsh industrial applications.
