The Woodpecker 9015 is a Managed Industrial Switch equipped with 8 port 10/100/1000BASE-T and 2 Gigabit SFP slots designed to operate in demanding industrial environments. Engineered with hardened components, it is fitted in a rugged IP30 enclosure, operates at wide temperatures from -40°C to 75°C and is protected against vibration and shock. In addition, Woodpecker prioritizes performance. It provides simple management functions to regulate the flow of data with features like Rate limitation and QoS. It also recognizes devices with the Auto-negotiation feature to optimize installation.
Resistant to Extreme Environments
Engineered to withstand electromagnetic interference, electrostatic discharge, power surge, over-voltage, over-current, and reverse polarity.
Firmware Backup
Built with dual flash memory, the firmware will be protected in both memories to safeguard the settings and parameters of the network.
Secure Remote Management Control
SNMP v1/v2/v3 protocols provide enhanced packet transmission security to protect you from evil attacks and manage the switch remotely, which in the case of a change will notify you through an e-mail, thanks to SNMP trap feature. It stores log information and provides fast troubleshooting. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and SFP DDMI (Digital Diagnostics Monitoring Interface) for network traffic management and monitoring of switch functions.
Redundant Power Supply
To guarantee power runs continuously the switch is designed to be simultaneously connected to two power supplies and an alarm through a standard industrial terminal block. If one power supply stops working the switch will start feeding its power on the alternative power supply and the alarm will go off to notify technicians about the event.
Traffic Priority (Quality of Service)
Allocate hight bandwidth to mission-critical applications and send only specific traffic to them to prevent unpredictable errors caused by an overload of data.
Redundant Ring for Fast Recovery
Protocols like Xpress Ring, ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching), Dual Homing, LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol), and RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol) assure continuous communication and recovery time of milliseconds in different network topology scenarios.
