IEN-9428-SS is an unmanaged industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch with eight 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and two Gigabit SFP slots. It is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in IP30 aluminum casing, and designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C.

It supports both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet options with auto MDI/MDIX (medium dependent interface / MDI crossover) and auto-negotiation for selection of appropriate connections. It also supports advanced flow control to ensure delivery of critical data with optimized traffics. The 2 Gigabit SFP slots allow network expansion by cascading two or more switches together in a daisy-chain fashion.
